Title:Mexican photograph albums of a German resident
Largely views taken on outings to various parts of Mexico, apparently by groups of Germans residing there. Many views are
group portraits, some of which are identified as a German gymnastic club. Several picture men drinking beer. Other views are
of scenic landscapes, native plants, antiquities, streets, villages, local inhabitants, railroads, and industry. Of note are
several images of the construction of a paper mill at San Rafael. Many of the views are in San Rafael and Vera Cruz, but also
included are views in La Canada de Contreras, Guadalajara, Tacubaya, Cuernevaca, Xochimilco, San Lorenzo, Ixtacalco, the caves
of Cacahuamilpa, and numerous other locations.
