Marcy Miranda was a graduate student at UCSB doing a case study of Chicana feminist organization for her MA thesis, in Sociology. The focus was on the Los Angeles based Comision Femenil Mexicana Nacional (CFMN). Her primary interest was to re-construct the Comision's history through written records and articles and then through oral history interviews. This small collection is limited to one box and focuses on the oral interviews conducted in 1996. Included in the collection are transcripts of interviews as well as logs and release forms for the interviews. There are a few subject files relating to CFMN.
