Includes several sets of commercial pictorial postcards featuring the photography of Laura Gilpin, who also published many
of the sets. Images document various aspects of the U.S. Southwest, in particular various Native American groups and the reservations,
settlements, activities and material culture (e.g. baskets, statuary, architecture, sand paintings, textiles) associated with
these groups and other communities of the region. Topics include Navajo, Acoma Pueblo, Mesa Verde National Park, Taos Pueblo,
San Idelfonso Pueblo, Santa Clara Pueblo, El Santuario de Chimayo, Los Ranchos de Taos Church, Canyon de Chelly, Museum of
