The Lord John Press was established in 1976 by Herb Yellin, who, after years of deliberation, decided to publish signed, limited
editions of major American authors. Yellin's motivation for starting the press was rooted in his background as an avid collector
of autographs and first edition books signed by the authors. The business was located in Northridge (Los Angeles), California.
