Abstract:
Holograph letter written and signed by Lambert W. Steele of Company I, First Connecticut Artillery at Camp Ingalls, Arlington
Heights, Virginia to his friend Mary. The letter states that he's glad to have received her letter and it has been raining
and snowing for the last few weeks at his camp. It also mentions that his infantry has changed to artillery which means they
are to have 10 guns, 100 horses, 150 men, 1 Captain, and 4 Lieutenants to one campany. The letter ends with his wish to see
Steve and Jule, who he doesn't suppose will get married, and he must close because he's tired of writing.
