Includes a portrait of Max Kalish; scenes of Kalish working on or posing with sculpture created for the Panama-Pacific International
Exposition; a view of Nations of the East sculptural group inside of an Exposition palace prior to its installation atop the
Arch of the Rising Sun; and a portion of a 1914 panoramic group portrait taken at the First Annual Banquet of the Sculptors
Department of the P.P.I.E. that depicts Kalish seated second from right. Also includes a photocopy of a 1915 letter written
by Alexander Stirling Calder, the chief of the Exposition's sculpture program, to C. Grant La Farge, recommending Kalish based
on the sculptor's work for the Exposition.
