Judith Chamberlain (February 28, 1893, died September 18, 1965) was born Judith Rosenfeld in Portland, Oregon. She assumed the surname of her presumed biological father, Frederick O. Chamberlain, a prominent medical doctor and broker in San Francisco, California. Judith's lifelong bond to fellow artist Rowena Meeks Abdy was established through Frederick Chamberlain. He first married Rowena Abdy's widowed mother, Anna Fischer, who died in 1898 and then Judith's widowed mother, Helene Levy, in 1903.
