The collection contains correspondence (1915-1928); an undated newspaper clipping that states Jack Richmond received a Master of Science from the University of California, Berkeley; and a newspaper clipping about a new group of individuals receiving their Scottish Rite degrees from the November 30, 1936 issue of the Oakland Tribune. The collection also includes a photocopy of an invitation from the California Alliance of Jewish Women to attend a Thanksgiving Dinner and Dance (November 24, 1927); an undated description of Jewish classes offered by the Foundation (it is not clear which Foundation this refers to); a letter and large flyer for the Emergency Campaign for the Relief of German Jewry that was done "in conjunction with Eighth Annual Appeal - United Jewish Welfare Fund of Oakland" (August 17, 1933); a Hillel Bulletin from the University of California, at Berkeley (November 7, 1927); and a postcard invitation to attend a luncheon at the United Jewish Welfare Fund of Oakland (August 21, 1933). There are also sports-related items, including many newspaper clippings about the West Berkeley Y.M.C.A. Basketball League and the Berkeley City Basketball League (1931, 1933-1935). There are also some political items, including publicity materials for the National Recovery Act and flyers against Upton Sinclair's candidacy, in 1934, for California governor and accusing him of being a communist from the United for California League, the Democratic Merriam for Governor Campaign Committee, and the American Institutions League. The collection also has programs for performances of the Symphony Orchestra of the Federal Music Project of the W.P.A. District, No. 8, (March 12, 1936; April 13, 1936); the Oakland Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Albert Elkus (October 29, 1934; February 16, 1936). It also contains a fragment of a play written by Alan Alexander Milne, The Man in the Bowler Hat (1924).
