Contains: 1. correspondence and documents relating to establishment of peace with Hopi Indians, with minutes of the Junta de Guerra and letters from Fray Francisco Irazzabal, Fray Antonio Uribarri and Fray Miguel Muniz. 2. order to destroy the underground ovens used as ceremonial meeting rooms, 3. papers relating to Juan Paéz Hurtado's campaign against the Apaches with minutes of the Junta de Guerra and letters from Fray José de Lara and José de Pineda.
