Abstract:

Holograph letter written by John Hay, U. S. Ambassador to the United Kingdom, to Richard C. Parsons, U. S. Representative from Ohio, on official stationery of the American Embassy, London. The letter describes embassy personnel as overworked and asks Parsons to send his son, who is to replace Mr. Carter as Second Secretary, as soon as possible to assist with the workload.
