Abstract:

Photographs of sugar industry buildings and mills in various stages of construction, and sugar processing equipment. Industries located in Hooper, Utah; Crosswell, Mich.; Preston, Idaho; and Miami, Florida. Group portraits of sugar industry meetings and others associated with the industry. Some photos feature buildings by and members of the Oxnard Construction Company. Dan Gutleban appears in several photographs. Album also includes some press clippings relating to the sugar industry. One oversize photo depicts attendees of the Great Western Sugar Company Technical Meeting in Denver, Colorado (1912 or 1913).
