Collection includes copy prints of a panorama of Oakland taken by A.H. Wulzen in 1879 (for originals, see BANC PIC 1908.001--fALB).
Other photos show buildings, street scenes (including people and vehicles), residential areas, churches, hotels, and many
businesses with signs visible. Businesses identified include photographic studios of Strong, W.W. Dames, Wm. B. Ingersoll,
A.K. Kipps, and B.F. Butler, Lithographers. San Francisco business blocks are shown, including department stores, Warner's
Cobweb Palace, and many other businesses. A few views of Berkeley are also included. Some photos show an unidentified building
into which a plane crashed.
