Rini Templeton was born in 1935 in Buffalo, New York. Her family moved to Chicago in 1946. Active as a poet, journalist, artist and activist from a young age. Traveled throughout North America, Mexico and Central America, eventually settling in Taos, New Mexico in the mid-1960s. Moved to Mexico City in 1974. Died in 1986.
