Diane Bernbaum was the director of the Midrasha school program of the East Bay Jewish Community High School. The East Bay
Jewish Community School was founded when the religious schools of several East Bay congregations decided to combine and form
one large school. Similarly, some congregations in Berkeley, Richmond, and Oakland came together to create a inter-congregational
high school program. The East Bay Jewish Community High School was sponsored by these congregations and received some help
from the Jewish Federation of the Greater East Bay.
