119 original black and white photographs , mostly taken in East Africa by a British Army Lieutenant from 1941 to 1943, most
captioned as well as five original views of Victoria Falls circa 1906. Photographs vary in sizes, the smallest measuring 6.5
cm x 4.5 cm and the largest 16 cm x 10 cm. Photos are in leather album with tooled seafaring motif, the lieutenant's initials
found on the ship's flags. A few additional photographs circa 1951 illustrate a grand military event in Uruguay relating to
the pluna aircraft. An assortment of personalia, clippings and other photos are also included. Derived from dealer description.
