Abstract:

Includes proof of nativity, dated Jan. 1904, for Pon Hong Ban (Bing), who returned to San Francisco on the SS America Maru on Oct. 31, 1903, and for Pon Yun Cheong, minor son of Pon Kee, who landed on the SS Siberia on Dec. 16, 1907. Also, certificates of identity dated Aug. 14, 1908, for Pon Get to facilitate re-entry to the U.S., and March 14, 1916, for Pon Doo Chew, minor son of Pon Hing, a Chinese resident in the U.S., who landed on the SS Manchuria on July 20, 1915. Portraits attached to each document.
