Abstract:
40 cartons of records from American Women for International Understanding (AWIU), a non-profit, non-governmental organization
established in 1968 to create an international network of women to foster understanding and goodwill among nations. The collection
includes minutes, scrapbooks, and correspondence, but centers around the reports of delegations designed to develop international
understanding and to foster personal and organizational relationships among women throughout the world through study, travel,
and symposia.
