Abstract:

Holograph Civil War era letter written by Lyman B. Ray, a Union soldier in the 104th Regiment, New York Infantry, from the Sixth and Master Street hospital in Philadelphia. Ray describes how he came to the hospital, his recuperation, and his impending discharge.
