Two views from Watkins' 1865-1866 trips to Yosemite, possibly printed later. Views may be reduced versions of his mammoth
plate views. Upper view captioned "South Dome en fond de la vallée." Lower view captioned: "Cathedral Rocks." The upper
view is identifcal to Watkins' mammoth plate view number 101, Half Dome from Glacier Point, Yosemite. The lower view is identical
to Watkins' mammoth plate view number 21, Cathedral Rock, Yosemite. Both mammoth views date to 1865-1866.

One sheet from a set of an unknown number of identically mounted and captioned views that was broken up by photograph dealers
in the 1980s or 1990s. A dealer's unproven anecdote suggests some association with Watkins's exhibition at the Paris Exposition
of 1867.
