Commercial, legal, military, religious, and personal letters or documents, including one specimen of Venezuelan paper money.
Noteworthy items are a file, 1796, on settlement of the estate of Juan Álvarez de Ávila and his wife, Juana Francisco de León;
a dozen items relating to the sale of real estate owned by Asunción Almira Ascanio, inherited from her mother, Petronila Torres;
a commission as lieutenant general to Pablo Ávila signed by President Joaquín Crespo; and a personal letter from Miguel Miranda,
possibly a descendant of Francisco Miranda, to his sister Estefanía. Many references to the Ávila, Blanco, and Ascanio families.
