J. Roger Samuelsen, Bob Carpenter, Ken Riggs, Jim Erickson, Carol Tomlinson-Keasy, in Merced, May 15, 2000. The group discusses
the Smith family, Merced history, and recollections of negotiations regarding Merced and the University of California. Also
included is correspondence regarding the project and background material on UC Merced.
