Abstract:
The transcripts of these papers, originally in the Depósito Hidrográfico at Madrid and now in the Museo Naval, were made for
Henry Morse Stephens, approximately 1909-1910. Includes Alejandro Malaspina, "Descripción física de las Costas de la California,
comprendidas al Sur del Cabo Blanco, con algunas nociones sobre las Provincias internas, y sus habitadores," an exact copy
of the first document of the four that comprise a manuscript book titled "Descripción de las Californias," which exists in
the Depósito Hidrográfico in Madrid, Letter 5a (volume 621 of Museo Naval).
