Includes 1 image of an anglo boy posing with a Chinese man and woman in traditional attire in front of the couple's rural log cabin. Many individuals depicted throughout are identified.

Susanville: an unincorporated community in the Blue Mountains of Grant County, Oregon; began as a gold mining camp in the 1860s; now considered a ghost town; in 1901 the camp was moved two miles up Elk Creek from Its original location, which is now the town of Galena.
