Abstract:

The collection contains diaries; date books; personal financial information; correspondence; photographs; medals for Sabbath attendance and a kaddish card from Congregation Beth Israel; religious instruction booklets from San Francisco's Congregation Sherith Israel; and high school and college publications. Also includes a copy of the "Redwood," a journal published by Santa Clara College (May 1906), after the San Francisco earthquake and fire; a copy of the "Mission Graduate," a publication published by Mission High School students (1907); Girls' High School journals (1907-1910); and an issue of "Alumnus" (Oct. 1907), a journal for Jewish youth from Congregation Beth Israel, together with a booklet from the Jewish Consumptives Relief Society, of Denver, Colorado.
