Covina, California, are also included. Press clippings describe Steckel's life, his career as a portrait photographer, comment
on merits of his photography, and describe many awards he obtained. Included is also a copy of a resolution prepared by the
Ellis Club in memory of George Steckel after his death in 1938.

Commercially produced scrapbook with label: Mark Twain's scrap book... Daniel Slote & Co. (Patent dates from 1873-1881.) Presumably
a variant name of product known as: Mark Twain's self-pasting scrap book.
