Abstract:

snapshots and some professionally made views documenting the 2nd Ohio Infantry of the Ohio National Guard along the U.S.-Mexico border as part of the Pancho Villa Punitive Expedition (1916-1917). Pictured are soldiers, military camps and maneuvers. Also depicted are everyday scenes of life along the border both in the U.S. and Mexico. Includes many views of the Rio Grande River. The album also includes some family portraits and snapshots.
