Richardson's gubernatorial campaign; work as governor's executive secretary; return to publishing in San Rafael; interests in Golden Gate Bridge construction and Redwood Empire Association; experiences as Director of State Institutions in Frank F. Merriam's administration, especially in establishing Langley Porter Clinic; purchase and publication of the Western Banker. Appended are copies of letters re Langley Porter Clinic, and clippings. Photographs inserted.
