Includes personal photographs, snapshots, press photographs, and some printed ephemera. The majority are snapshots of Garry,
many of which date to the 1940s and his military service. Some studio portraits of Garry are present, including one from early
childhood and others throughout his career. Some photographs of Garry at parties or enjoying nightlife are included, with
friends or colleagues, along with several photographs at professional gatherings or banquets. Some family members are also
pictured. A snapshot of Huey Newton and a news photograph of Newton with Garry are present, and a memorial service leaflet
from the funeral of Black Panther George Jackson is also included. Several certificates are housed in oversize (size --B).
