Plantation) in Durango, Mexico. Individuals pictured include Nathan Keyes Masten, his wife Amelia, and their nine daughters;
Catherine Murphy Dunne (when elderly) and husband James Dunne; Peter J. Dunne (many from childhood through adulthood), his
wife Josephine Masten Dunne, and their children Peter M., Josephine M., Mary, Dorothy, Margaret, and Catherine.

Peter J. Dunne was the son of California pioneer James Dunne and Catherine Murphy Dunne, a Santa Clara County landowner and
widow of State Senator Bernard Murphy. Josephine Masten Dunne was a daughter of California pioneer Nathan Keyes Masten. Peter
and Josephine's son Peter Masten Dunne was a historian of missionary Jesuits in California and Mexico.
