Abstract:
Primarily studio portraits of Governor James N. Gillett and of his son James. Several group photographs of political events
and banquets also present. One portrait is mounted in a 1907 honorary banquet menu from the Fairmont Hotel. Oversize photomechanical
print is a group portrait taken at a dinner for Gillett's 1906-07 California gubernatorial campaign. Individuals include Abraham
Ruef and Joseph Knowland. Also present are two large unidentified portraits (one man and one woman), signed Bushnell Foto.
