Wilson's deanship, 1970-1975; changing the school and its curricula in an atmosphere of unrest; writing on bibliographical
organization and control, library and information policy, and cognitive authority; serving on Academic Senate committees,
chairing the Committee on Courses of Instruction; thoughts on librarianship as intellectual platform, librarianship as a "science,"
the future of librarianship; honored at Scandinavian conference, 1993.
