Abstract:
Ledger containing handwritten account information for the New Almaden Quicksilver Mines located near San Jose, Calif. The
information consists of undetermined measurements (probably tons) of tierras and/or ore production, metal and tepetate hoisted,
and materials consumed from various shafts (including Randol, Santa Isabel, Washington, Buena Vista, Santa Rita, and San Pedro)
for every other month between Nov. 1884 and Sept. 1886. Also, handwritten "Partial Account Sales" documents (7 p.) concerning
orders for quicksilver deliveries to various cities in Mexico, 1865-1866. In addition, a tenant's agreement (1 p.) for the
rental of a house located on the land of the Quicksilver Mining Company, owner of the New Almaden mines, May 14, 1866. The
handwritten portion of the agreement lists the terms of the rental at one month for $5 and is signed by Ignacio Flins.
