Chiefly portraits of Barber and family members. Includes one souvenir photo of the Santa Barbara mission (1890s), 1 stereograph of family members on the steps of the Barber home, and a cabinet card photo montage with a view of Santa Barbara surrounded by portraits of citizens.

Architect. Mayor of Santa Barbara, 1880-1882. Born ca. 1830 in Ohio. Came to San Francisco from Ohio via Panama in 1852. Married Mary Jane Wheaton in San Francisco, 1858 or later.
