Abstract:

Amateur photographs of homes, landscapes, and people in the vicinties of Coloma, Oakland, Menlo Park, Monterey, Highland and Clear Lake (Lake County) and "Ainsworth's, Pagoda Hill" (probably the residence of Capt. John C. Ainsworth in Oakland - formerly the J. Ross Browne estate, or a subdivision thereof.) Includes some mining related views, leisure outings, the Unitarian Church in Oakland, Stanford University, the Hopkins and Felton estate grounds in Menlo Park, and a few Indian reservation views (near Highland or Clear Lake?)
