Abstract:

Images documenting buildings, architectural details, town and city scenes, urban landscapes, natural attractions, and the history and antiquities of Mexico. Emphasis is on architecture (colonial and modern) and pre-Columbian sites, and on costume and cultural "types" of various regions. Collection is divided into several series (with the majority filed as "colonial" or "modern") and then filed by geographic location.
