Abstract:

Domestic views show many interiors of homes, including a living room and detailed views of a kitchen with kitchen equipment and a Chinese cook. Also included are Pearson's family and friends, portraits of G.C. Pearson, and many pictures of the family's dogs. A camp near Tahoe and pictures of hunting outings are also included.
The Gopher Mine and vicinity in El Dorado Co., Rock Creek (and the power house), the St. Lawrence Mine, the Dalmatia Mine, and other unidentified mines. Includes detailed views of: interiors of the motor room, rock breaker floor, ore bin, concentrator room, mine pit, battery floor, blacksmith shop, mill, many power houses, flumes, and other mining equipment. Also includes interiors of some mines lit by "flashlight". General views of mining camps are also included, showing buildings, bunkhouses, the mine dining room, and others.
