Abstract:
The bulk of the Merritt College Black Student Union collection is an array of event flyers documenting the activism that took
place at Merritt College in the late 1960s and early 1970s. Also consists of an extensive collection of clippings pertaining
to student uprisings at the college during the same period. Includes correspondence of various student associations and President
Norvel L. Smith, as well as memos, writings, and miscellaneous ephemera.
