Fifteen letters relating to his voyage to California around the Horn on the ship Mentor, arrival in San Francisco on June
3O, l849 and experiences as a miner and farmer. Letter, l859, describes his journey to the Fraser River gold mines. Letter,
l899, relates his experiences as a merchant in Alaska from l874. With these: clippings of articles by his brother, James F.
Callbreath, and miscellaneous clippings.
