Contains manuscripts, reports and notes about places in Alameda County. Many were written for the Federal Writers Project
of the Works Progress Administration, district 8, project #65-3-646, symbol #1873, project #4269. H.E.Rensch was the supervisor
and F. J. Drummond the Assistant Supervisor for this project. Other materials may have been prepared and used for one of Rensch's
publications concerning historical spots in California. Some of the notes in the collection are on places of California outside
of Alameda County.
