Abstract:
Views of Oahu landscapes (Diamond Head, Pali, Honolulu, etc.), Honolulu buildings (Oahu Prison, King's Palace, Government
Building, Hawaiian Hotel, Post Office, Queen's Hospital, the Bank of Honolulu, and Bethel Church), Honolulu street scenes
(Nuuanu, Bethel, Merchant, and Fort Streets) a wharf view, a grass house, the statue of Kamehameha I, and a coronation view.
Views of Maui and the island of Hawaii include Lahaina Harbor, Wailuki, Haleakala, mills and sugarcane field workers at Spreckelsville,
the beach at Hilo, and lava flows at the coast near Hilo in 1881. Also present are images of the store at Kahului, the Royal
Hawaiian Band, and an exterior of the Claus Spreckels house in Honolulu.
