Abstract:

Typescript (carbon) transcriptions of letters written by Aaron Burt Grosh to Dr. Richard Maurice Bucke. The letters concern the claims of Grosh, the Frank Mining Company of California, the Utah Enterprise, and the Grosch Consolidated Mining Company to Comstock ores, and Grosh's dealings with Benjamin R. Nickerson. Also includes copies of letters from E. Allen Grosh to P.J. Hoover, Blind Ravine, Mid. Am. River, December 12, 1857, and from W.J. Harrison to Hoover, Last Chance, Placer County, California, December 20, 1857, concerning Allen's death.
