Abstract:
Photographs document depression-era conditions in the American South, Midwest, Southwest, and California, including the impact
of drought and the living conditions of agricultural laborers. Westward migration, migrant living conditions, strikes, FSA
migratory labor camps in Arizona and California, Farm Associations, World War Two defense housing, and Mexican laborers. A
few images of the Japanese American relocation during World War Two are also present.
