Elisabeth L. Egenhoff (born 1912 ; died 2012 in Oakland, California) received her B.A degree in geology from U.C. Berkeley
in 1933. She was an editor and writer for the California State Department of Natural Resources, Division of Mines, and worked
at the Ferry Building in San Francisco. Egenhoff is the author of books on gold and mercury mining and on the use of mineral
materials in California buildings before 1850. She is buried in Mountain View Cemetary in Oakland, California.
