Includes many studio portraits of native americans of northern California, some of them identified -- e.g. Old Chunk Brown,
Dr. Round Mountain Charlie, Walker John, Lizzie Tow, Laura Tow, Short Charlie, Old Hausch, Dr. Burney Valley Pete. Captions
describe two group portraits as "half and quarter breed Indians". Also includes studio and snapshot portraits of other individuals
and groups, most unidentified. Also includes a few views of horse-drawn wagons carrying large loads of various goods. Other
topics includes horses, native american baskets, houses, ranches, a salmon hatchery, and Decoration Day of 1900 in New York
City. Several pastoral views and scenes of outdoor leisure appear throughout the album.
