Copy photograph of Amelia Earhart's Lockheed Electra plane in flight, probably over San Francisco Bay. Taken in 1937, some
months prior to Earhart's disappearance while piloting this plane during a round-the-world flight. Photographic image redproduces
autographs on the original of Earhart, stunt pilot and technical adviser Paul Mantz, and navigators Harry Manning and Fred
Noonan. Accompanied by 1 Sunderland business card, copies of 2 newsclippings and 5 typescript letters between Sunderland
and various publishers regarding a similar 1937 Sunderland photograph of Earhart's plane in flight over San Francisco Bay.
