Abstract:

Collection consists of four volumes of sheep ranch, household and personal accounts kept by Alice M. Kennedy Lynch at Tierra Redonda Ranch in San Luis Obispo County, Californa, which was owned and operated by James and Alice Lynch. Volume 1 is a wages account book dating from 1874 to 1896. Pages 240 through 253 of volume 1 also include journal-style entries on weather and plowing. Volume 2 is an accounts journal dating from December 1, 1879 to April 14, 1890. Volume 3 is an accounts journal dating from May 6, 1890 to July 11, 1910. Volume 4 is a ledger dating from 1879 to 1909.
