Abstract:

Contains personal and business related items pertaining to three generations of the Atkinson family including Lynn Samuel Atkinson, Sr., Lynn Samuel Atkinson, Jr., Mary Atkinson, and Thelma Atkinson. The bulk of the collection compiled by Lynn Atkinson, Jr., are scrapbooks consisting of correspondence, news clippings, greeting cards, and ephemera about the family and business. A small portion of the collection is family and business correspondence with the majority being Lynn Atkinson, Jr.'s personal documents; a yacht log book; a diary of Mary Atkinson; and a travel diary of Thelma Atkinson.
