Manuscript of testimony (41 p.) requested by the representative of the owners of the Hacienda of Yramoco regarding the favorable
decision granted the Indians of Santa Ana by the civil judge of Morelia [i.e. Morelia (Michoacán de Ocampo, Mexico)]. Testimony
taken by magistrate Francisco Zambrano regarding a dispute over boundaries between Hacienda of Yramaco and the Indian village
of Santa Ana Maya involving armed invasion and destruction of crops by the Indians. Thread bound document of pages stamped
with seal of jurisdiction (Receptoria de Acambaro) includes surveys, description of the invasion, and refutation of jurisdiction
of the court in Morelia (Aug.-Nov. 1839).
