Materials from the estate of Alice Lorraine Andrews of Berkeley, California, daughter of Allie Newell, and grand-daughter
of George Baker Newell. Alice Andrews was the owner of the Lola Montez House in Grass Valley, California, 1933-1970s. Boxes
include guest registers from the house, historical essays about the Lola Montez house, genealogical papers, diaries of Alice
Garwood Barkley, an inscribed copy of the book "Lotta's fountain," some material on Ina Coolbrith. Oversize box and folder
include posters for theatrical and musical performances, sketches and blueprints of the house, a sign from the house and clippings
about the house and Montez.
