Abstract:

Includes edited but unreviewed transcript of interviews with Allen Chickering about his family, his grandfather's practice in Hawaii, summers at Soda Springs Ranch, his education at the University of California, Berkeley and Harvard Law School, practicing law in the 1930s and 1940s, the Chickering & Gregory law firm, and serving as director of Leslie Salt Co. Also includes an unedited and unreviewed with Sherman Chickering, on California Republican politics 1966-1974, conducted by Gabrielle Morris in 1982.
Consists of a photograph of Allen Chickering, newspaper clippings, and information on the firm of Chickering & Gregory.
